“WIDE EYE OPEN” is an exhibition of photographs by the Visually Impaired. Be a part of this unique exhibition that will have on display a mesmerising collection of photographs taken by the visually impaired people who were trained in photography since 2006 under the Blind with Camera project of the Beyond Sight Foundation Mumbai.
This exhibition aims to celebrate the human spirit of self-expression, spreading awareness about the challenges and capabilities of the visually impaired while also helping to sensitize people and correct their perception.
The opening of the exhibition will be done on 5th Oct at 6:30 pm and will be followed by a brief choir concert by children from The Blind Relief Association and the Deepalaya School, Kalkaji branch trained by The Neemrana Music Foundation. So, be there and check it out!
This exhibition is being held from 08-18 Oct 2012 daily at the Galerie Romain Rolland, Alliance Francaise de Delhi, 72, Lodi Estate, New Delhi - 110003.
The exhibition will be on view until Thursday, 18 Oct from 11 am to 8 pm, all days including Sunday.
